Director, Regional Sales (Asia)

Responsibilities:

  • To manage the department’s staffing needs in connection with staff holidays, flex time and working hours
  • Own and meet/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
  • Create and communicate sales goals and ensure EXCO executives are informed on the progress of those goals
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes
  • Lead and motivate staff to improve customer service with clients and internal support organizations
  • Develop and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.
  • Assessing costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices constraints and strategies
  • Supervise regional sales managers
  • Determine annual revenue and gross-profit plans by implementing sales strategies, analyse trends
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories and projecting expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products (business development)
  • Maintain sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand.
  • Plan, monitor, and appraises job results.
  • Support efforts in Business Development to maintain and expand supplier relationships including supplier retention efforts
  • Support the development of the supplier business offerings (in concert with Supply Chain)
  • Contribute to a continuous improvement of the performance and competitiveness of Topcast products, services and strategy, by providing market feedback and voice of the customer

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Aviation or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in sizable company
  • Broad knowledge about the aerospace, products and customers
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience in the commercial aircraft and MRO spare parts aftermarket
  • Ability to manage negotiations and drive opportunities with external stakeholders on peer level
  • Negotiation level in English, other language skills preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Leadership of multi-cultural/international team
  • Effective collaboration with other leaders in Topcast
  • Act according to Topcast’s management guidelines and tools
  • Strong communication skills, including active listening and written/oral expression
  • Good social skills, incl. sensitivity to different environments/cultures
  • Good emotional intelligence, incl. self-awareness, respect for others and openness to constructive criticism

  • High level of energy and persistence and “can win” attitude
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
