Topcast has completed its first overhaul workscope order of Adams Rite’s DDD

𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞! 🚀

Topcast, as the authorized repair station for Adams Rite’s Airbus A350 & A380 Decompression Deceleration Device (DDD), has completed its first overhaul workscope order of this safety critical product!

The cockpit security system ensures that the A350s and A380s airframes remain intact even if the cockpit loses pressure. The DDD prevents injuries and damage by slowing down the door, and stopping it from coming off its hinges under extreme centrifugal forces.

The CMM for AR7010-X and AR7011-X does not permit the repair of the DDD belt, a vital part of the DDD. This component must be replaced. Topcast, an Adam’s Rite Authorized Repair Station, has the training and capability to perform the required work scope of the entire DDD overhaul.
