Competition isn’t all bad. It just needs to be structured in a way that encourages team-building and collaboration. Topcast organized the 4th Quarter 2020 Slow Moving Inventory Contest Award Ceremony on February 4, 2021, to frame the sales activity as a game for positive motivation and engagement among the team.
Slow-moving inventory takes up valuable warehouse space and ties up capital. Our Aviation Sales developed a strategic plan to deal with the items, enabling us to diversify our product offering and extend our services to the customers. After the award presentation ceremony, two top winners in Revenue Performance and Product Diversity – Brendus Tse and Gloria Cheng shared their winning tips with us.
Immediate Response
“Working at Topcast for a year, I aim to provide world-class customer service every single day,” said Brendus Tse, Customer Support Officer. She explains the tip to gain customer loyalty is quick response. “Customers can feel you are handling their concerns seriously. Over the time, when they have any new request, they come to me right away.” Brendus added.
Two-way Communication
Two times in a row, Gloria Cheng, Senior Customer Support Officer, became the winner of the contest in selling the most diversified products. She believes it’s always critical to understand the customer demand and come up with a pricing strategy. We need to communicate with both customers and Outside Sales seamlessly. “Communication is always the key to success,” Gloria stressed. Being an experienced Inside Sales for seven years at Topcast, Gloria has effectively worked with different parties to demonstrate her professionalism.
Once again, congratulations to the awardees!
