First Overhaul Completion for Marathon Norco Hold Open Rods🎉

On August 11, 2025, Topcast proudly completed its first overhaul workscope order for the critical safety component—Marathon Norco Hold Open Rods—following full certification from the EASA & FAA for its repair capabilities. This milestone marks a significant achievement in Topcast’s commitment to aviation safety and excellence in MRO services.💯

The Hold Open Rods is a telescoping rod that is used to keep the engine fan cowl doors in an open position during aircraft engine inspection and maintenance actions. As EASA & FAA’s certificated Repair Station, Topcast perform functional test & repair on the Hold Open Rods with state-of-the-art instruments, testing equipment, and tools newly designed by OEM Marathon Norco. As an OEM-authorized MRO repair station, Topcast is fully trained and equipped to perform comprehensive tests and repairs.
