Topcast and Av-DEC Extend Exclusive Distribution Partnership to Asia-Pacific Military Customers

Atlanta, GA, USA, 18 April 2023 — Topcast, the world-leading aircraft parts distributor and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) service provider, entered into an extension of its distribution agreement with Aviation Devices & Electronic Components, LLC (Av-DEC), the innovative aircraft anti-corrosion solution provider, to expand the scope of exclusive distribution. Under the new agreement, Topcast distributes all corrosion-prevention products of Av-DEC to customers in the Asia-Pacific region, including commercial flight and military aircraft operators (excluding China, Hong Kong, and Macau for commercial aircraft, and Australia and New Zealand for military aircraft.)
In September 2022, Topcast and Av-DEC signed an exclusive distribution agreement and began an extensive partnership servicing commercial aircraft operators in South-East Asia. Due to the immediate success of the partnership, Topcast and Av-DEC have extended the relationship to include Military customers and applications, meaning Topcast is now the sole, exclusive distributor serving Av-DEC customers in the Asia-Pacific region (excluding China, Hong Kong, and Macau for commercial aircraft, and Australia and New Zealand for military aircraft).
Higher temperatures and humidity increase the rate of cost-incurring aircraft corrosion problems. With the application of Av-DEC products, such as HI-TAK® gaskets, injectable and sprayable sealants, and HI-TAK® polyurethane rolled sealants (PRS®), the corrosion rate on aircraft that mainly fly in South-East Asia will be significantly reduced and commercial flight operators can save a considerable repair cost. Topcast and Av-DEC intend to introduce these advanced anti-corrosion products to Asian operators with the aim to replicate the immediate success and reduced maintenance requirements seen by comparable American operators.
